How can I ask a judge to finalize my divorce?
Call the court and see if you can schedule a date for hearing for a divorce decree. If you dont have an attorney, they may require you to have your documents reviewed, this is done at a legal library here, but its different everywhere. This is just to make sure you have all the required documents and arent wasting your own and the courts time. If you were the petitioner, you have to go to court in person anywhere in the US as far as I know. If you call the court they should be able to tell you everything you need to know.
